Product Description
For over 200 years, Cuba has grown the finest varieties of coffee beans and has pefected the growing and processing techniques to bring out the now-famous Cuban coffee flavour. Every batch can be traced to a single plant introduced by Jose Antonio Gelabert in 1748, and the methods of cultivation have changed little in the years since.
The famous “Altura” quality grows in the Sierra Maestra region and is named in the honour of the highest mountain peak of Cuba.The wet process leads to a coffee with a rich soft aroma and remind a little honey note.
Winner of two Bronze Medals at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
