Cigar Hut respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. We stipulate Cigar Hut's Consumer Data Privacy Policy on this page, that is, how we protect your privacy and treat your data when you submit personal information to us. The technical aspects of privacy protection, such as encryption and data transfer security, are described in the Transaction Security Capabilities and Policies section below.

The Cigar Hut online order form consists of a number of fields that you are asked to fill in. Some of them are compulsory, others optional. The fields are:

• Your name (*)
• Email address  (*)
• Telephone number (*)
• Company name
• Billing address (*)
• Delivery address (*)

All fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required in order to process your order and deliver the product to you. Cigar Hut stores the information for accounting reasons. Your information will not be shown to third parties not involved in the transaction, nor used to send you any unsolicited information. Currently the only third parties that are used to ship your goods are Australia Post and Couriers Please.

If you want to pay with a credit card, you have to give the following information:

• Name on credit card
• Credit card number
• Expiry date of credit card
• Verification number (Card Verification Value) on the back of Visa and Mastercards, on the front for American Express

The credit card information is sent directly to our payment provider (ANZ eGate Merchant Services) who processes your order. The credit card information is neither recorded nor stored by Cigar Hut, and it can only be accessed by our payment provider. All transactions are sent via a secure connection utilising a 128-bit encryption.

Transaction Security Capabilities And Policies

Your credit card details are sent directly to Cigar Hut's payment gateway service (ANZ eGate Merchant Services) over a secure SSL-encrypted connection. They are not processed on our servers at any stage of the transaction and at no point do we store your card details.
